use their evil words
their rebuke to hurt you
listen attentively to them
to draw closer to God…
 
gather wisdom in these moments
exposing our motivations
when fear of man holds us
give this over to God…
 
no matter the posture of their hearts,
even if they seek to harm us,
know they your sins are forgiven,
Christ took them to the cross…
 
use their evil words
listen intentionally to them,
their rebukes do not condemn you,
draw closer to God…
